Hello! I’m Elliot, and I am the founder and dedicated facilitator of the Norwich Drum Circle.

My journey is driven by a deep belief in the transformative power of sound. For many years, my mission has been to harness the energy of rhythm and create an instantly welcoming and connected space for the community.   I believe the drum is the most ancient and accessible tool for connection, stress relief, and pure, unfiltered joy.   Whether you're a seasoned percussionist or picking up a drum for the very first time, I guide the circle with patience, energy, and humour, ensuring everyone finds their inner beat and feels the collective heartbeat of the group.

My passion for performance is rooted in my family history; my grandmother, on my father's side, was a true musical virtuoso who played the piano in the Royal Albert Hall at the tender age of 11!

Carrying on that musical spirit, my own interests extend well beyond the drum circle. I love to Sing, also play the Guitar and Piano and you can often find me honing my vocal harmonies as a proud member of Fine City Chorus - Norwich's leading male barbershop chorus - which has just enjoyed celebrating its 50 Year Anniversary.  

I also enjoy offering my services at (or, indeed, just being part of) the many Ecstatic Dances, Sound Baths and Kirtan offerings which happen regularly in this fine city which just over 140,000 of us currently call Home.

Ultimately, my goal is to make the joy and therapeutic benefits of rhythm and music accessible to as many people as I can, around the world.
